We will tell you more about Ashley in a post very soon! In the mean time please follow her on her Instagram, Facebook and Website! Her work is amazing and there’s so much more to see! Using Fondant in IOD Moulds:

Step 1: Before using for the first time, wash your mould with mild soap and water. Dry completely and dust your Classic Elements mould with a little bit of cornstarch to keep the fondant from sticking.

Step 2: Push the fondant into the mould firmly.

Step 3: Use a modeling tool to remove the excess paste.

Step 4: Remove any stray pieces of paste by running your finger over the micro-rim of the mould.

Step 5: Flip the mould upside down and carefully peel the mould away from the fondant.

Step 6: Let the fondant pieces firm up a bit by letting it sit for 30-60 minutes.

Step 7: Repeat the same process with the Swag mould to create the small detail piece.

Step 8: Using, sugar glue, place the large fondant swags onto the cake tiers.

Step 9: Place the small detail piece to the swags on each of the tiers.

That is how you use and apply IOD Decor Moulds to your cake! I encourage you to try this on your cakes! It’s easy and fun!

Thank you so much Ashley! We’re so thankful to have you on the IOD Sugar Arts Design Team!
