This Fall we’re releasing two new transfer designs and they’re gonna keep you creatively inspired ALL YEAR ROUND!
But, before we jump into showing you the designs…
New Layout = More IOD Transfer Goodness!
We’re introducing a new format for our transfers. Instead of using tubes that include a single large sheet of transfers, with this release you get a pad of transfers. Each pad measures 12×16 and contains 8 sheets of transfers.
This ends up being about two times the amount of designs as compared to our previous transfers! In this new format, the rub on images lend themselves to both large furniture makeovers as well as smaller decor projects because you can more easily cut them apart, arrange them as you wish, and store them without worrying about losing the non-stick backing.
The new 2020 IOD transfers will be available for purchase from IOD stockists on October 6, 2020.

IOD Woodland Christmas Transfer
When the weather outside is frightful, we guarantee this winter-themed transfer hand painted by Lexi Grenzer for IOD will just be delightful!
Created using watercolor paints, the Woodland Christmas Transfer has all the elements needed to DIY your home decor this holiday season. (Think handmade signage!) From an elegant buck with holly leaves entwined in his antlers to a vibrant red cardinal ready to pose with poinsettia – the design possibilities are endless.

IOD Painterly Florals Transfer
Look at the rich depth and texture of these oil painted buds and blossoms! Hand painted with love by Josie, the Painterly Florals transfer offers a collection of sunflowers, delicate sprigs of lavender, and wild roses.
Designed to allow you to create your own bouquet! You have a wide assortment of flowers, buds, stems and leaves to play with like Ildiko of Restored4u did below.
Here are all the transferrable images included with this floral transfer. (Yes, we included two sheets of lavender because you can never have too much of it!)

since this one was printed in 2020 it’s “retired”.
you can only put hade them for “stockists” who Iron Orchid allows to carry their products.
if you’re lucky someone might have them on eBay.

Hi, first, IOD Transfers are wonderful and I love working with them. Just noticed the new floral offering for 2020 shown on a black digital bkg. Coincidentally last night I applied ‘Japonica’ to a black (‘Graphite’ in ASCP) Ming style table. I opted to only use the black bits with the bird, flowers & berries. It’s a lovely tone on tone look but best to be aware that on black furniture there’s the slight edge of the transfer backing that shows on top of black paint. On a lighter paint color it “disappears” more naturally. On black paint it’s a subtle, pale grey edge about the width of a pencil lead. Not a huge deal but it’s a bit different from the sample digital image and was unexpected. I plan to do the companion table today. It’ll be fine, but I hope to get your thoughts on this—perhaps a workaround?

I was wondering —being business owners why you would not reissue winning transfers that sold out and we the public can no older find or purchase. It would seem to me that it would be financially feasible for you to keep them coming so your public can purchase them. I have sought frantically for a couple that are no longer available. Maybe you could think about making more of what has already been working for the company… Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out. We love all of our transfers but we need to keep the amount of skus manageable for our stockists. Sadly. when we release new items some need to get retired. We put a lot of thought into which designs to retire. We are sorry you have had trouble finding some designs.
