By Any Other Name

Bows Mould

8 Page, 8” x 12”

Using the illustrations of Paul De Longpré, the By Any Other Name – 8-Page 8x12" Transfer Pad features a classic collection of roses paired with birds and butterflies. Sally sourced the antique prints directly from a dealer, selecting from a book of De Longpré’s rose studies. A contemporary of Katarina Klein, his work was often compared to hers for its expressive handling of botanicals, though each artist had a distinct approach. We curated a selection of prints that preserved the character and detail of his original compositions.

The florals pair effortlessly with the added nature elements and typography, giving makers the freedom to build large arrangements or use individual motifs for smaller projects. Whether applied to furniture, wall décor, or mixed media pieces, By Any Other Name brings together timeless botanical imagery in a format that works beautifully across a variety of creative styles.

Emily Clare

Specimens Beetle Mould

8 Page, 8” x 12”

The Emily Clare – 8-Page 8x12" Transfer Pad comes from one of our favorite archive finds to date. Taken from an 1868 family album belonging to Miss Emily Clare Harvey, the artwork began as her pencil and watercolor illustrations lovingly added around her family’s portraits. The Cooper Hewitt preserved the album, and when we discovered it, Sam (our Senior Designer) and Sally immediately fell in love with its whimsical, beautifully hand-painted details. The set includes charming elements like kittens, hummingbirds, butterflies, banners, and even a proud little rooster—each one quirky, delicate, and full of character.

These illustrations strike that rare balance of sophisticated and playful, giving makers something fresh and delightfully unexpected to work with. Use the elements with their given frames or stand alone as focal elements in art pieces, décor projects, and mixed media. Emily Clare brings a sense of story and creativity from a young 19th-century artist directly into your hands, inviting you to build scenes that are as unique and joyful as the originals.

Flora Greca

Specimens Beetle Mould

8 Page, 8” x 12”

The Flora Greca – 8-Page 8x12" Transfer Pad takes its name from a ten-volume botanical masterpiece published between 1806 and 1840, often described as one of the most beautiful and ambitious works of its kind. We’ve incorporated several of the ornate frames from this historic collection, pairing them with artwork inspired by the detailed floral studies of Jane Landon, who was renowned for her precision and expressive botanical renderings. Together, these elements create a foundation that feels both sophisticated and true to its classical origins.

To complement the florals, we added a selection of exotic birds, delicate wildflowers, fruit, and bumblebees—elements Sally loved for their elegant, slightly elevated feel and the way they distinguish this transfer from more traditional botanical sets. The result is a collection that feels unique, graceful, and quietly luxurious, with plenty of room for creative interpretation.

Madeleine

Specimens Beetle Mould

8 Page, 12” x 16”

The Madeleine – 8-Page 12x16" Transfer Pad is reminiscent of vintage Parisian décor, with artwork so decadent and luscious you can almost feel the richness of the original paint. The florals are vibrant, full, and deeply saturated, and the style closely echoes the St. Germaine collection—likely by the same unnamed artist whose work has long inspired us. The name Madeleine was chosen as a nod to a small French town near Saint-Germain, tying it back to the origins of the artwork. Several elements, including the flowing ribbons, were hand-painted by a contemporary artist, Annie Quigley, specifically for this collection to complement the vintage roses, birds, bows, and swags found in the original compilations.

Designed with both small décor and furniture scale in mind, Madeleine includes corners, borders, drawer-backer motifs, and full bouquets that can stand alone as focal elements. Many of the arrangements come directly from the antique artwork exactly as they were found, offering lavish compositions that feel feminine, expressive, and beautifully over the top. Whether placed on a tray, a chest of drawers, or a curated vignette, Madeleine captures the indulgent beauty of historic French interiors in a way that invites bold, elegant creations.

Saint Ouen

Specimens Beetle Mould

8 Page, 8” x 12”

Named after the iconic Parisian district, the Saint Ouen – 8-Page 8x12" Transfer Pad is inspired by the unexpected treasures Sally discovered in the area’s famed brocantes—France’s eclectic flea and antiques markets. The artwork comes directly from pieces she sourced there: Grecian statuary prints found down a quiet lane, fine art fragments, handwritten typography, and other curiosities chosen for their character and charm.

Designed to echo the delight of wandering a Parisian brocante, Saint Ouen blends statuary, botanicals, artwork, and ephemera into a layered, collected aesthetic. These elements work beautifully for gallery-style compositions, furniture accents, and mixed-media projects. The unfinished statue of the woman’s head is just begging to be decorated in lush florals to your hearts desire. The collection captures the feeling of discovering meaningful, one-of-a-kind art in Paris—and offers it as a cohesive creative experience.
