Love your moulds, and have many. I watched. Off the shelf plastic to French clay pot. I can’t find the “queen bee” mould you used. Is it called something else? Would love to do this planter but need the mould. Can I order it from your website?

Hi, I just wanted to say that this is the best diy video I have ever seen. Most of the time I just fast forward through them, but you are so captivating. I loved how you incorporated the sugar story into the tutorial. You’re charming, and inspiring. Now I’m going to stop eating sugar while I make my own molds for my dresser! 👍
I was watching your video and loved it . The bad thing was that watching the video I was eating candy my favorite thing to eat. I eat candy every day. I also had open heart surgery and I seriously need to get of the sugar. You have inspired me to get of the sugar. Wish me luck. Blessings, Roxanne
Hi Roxanne,

Debi thank you for sharing your story, your life your health and your family in this wonderful project. I too was addicted to sugar and felt terrible. Last summer I decided to exercise change my diet by illuminating sugar and carbs. lost 30 pounds and felt amazing but let it all go because of a break up and I’m back to being +30 lbs and no energy and brain fog and have inflammation back in my hands and neck. Thank you for the inspiration…I’m ready to go back to my healthy life for me and no one else.
Love this gorgeous dresser you created a piece of artwork. I plan on trying it myself. Thank you!
Im in a small town in Ontario Canada .I cant find anywhere

Your dresser is BETTER than anthropology
Hi Marla, didn’t Debi do an amazing job?! We are in LOVE!
Can you please provide a list of the actual moulds Debi used ?? I think she said on the video that she used 8 different moulds. Thanks !
Hi Debbi! We asked Debi about the moulds she used in addition to our Laurel, Swags, and Classical Elements moulds. She told us “you could use any of them… as shown in my video I cut, twisted pieced together, used tiny portions and conformed them to get the look I wanted. My best tip is think outside the mould!” Happy creating! 🙂
Beautiful dresser and you’re very talented!
Hi Shawna! We think Debi did such a beautiful job with this dresser!
Just unbelievably gorgeous ❤️
I love this! I already have one set of the molds. But, thank you for showing how you get the clay our of the molds.

what were the other 5 decor mould designs that Debbie used on the dresser?
Hi Lori! We asked Debi about the moulds she used in addition to our Laurel, Swags, and Classical Elements moulds. She told us “you could use any of them… as shown in my video I cut, twisted pieced together, used tiny portions and conformed them to get the look I wanted. My best tip is think outside the mould!”
This is stunning! How long do you let the clay dry before you glue it on?
Hello Jennifer! Didn’t Debi do a fabulous job?! We LOVE this dresser! Our favorite way to use Air Dry Clay is to apply it still damp and just out of the mould, so you can form to the edges in the dresser and twist the pieces for the design. Oh. My. Word. Your dresser has me giddy! I MUST try it! I am so excited about it. Absolutely stunning. Your music is the best outside of Christian Contemporary. Can you share some of the names/artists with me please? And your story is one I can relate to as I am also doing a keto/atkins lifestyle. I no longer need any diabetes meds, cholesterol and triglycerides are back down from over 300’s and now in normal range. It is a way of eating that works for this sugar and carb addicted woman of 59.
Hi Maria!
Didn’t Debi do an amazing job?? We’re still swooning over this dresser makeover! Debi will have the answers for some of the artists, but I do know the first song is “Ghost” by Johnny Stimson. This is so great to hear that your lifestyle change is having such positive results!! Keep up the awesome work 🙂 You can see all of Debi’s amazing designs by subscribing to her YouTube channel here. She’s a wonderful person who creates such beautiful pieces <3 Happy creating!
how durable are the appliques made from clay after they have been painted and sealed? Are they pretty hard or do the chip off it bumped ?
What a great design! I envy your patience. 🙂
The dresser is beautiful and so are you. I commend you for your beautiful work and your strength to share your journey. There are any of us that struggle this way and I am one. Thank you for sharing. I would like to know where together molds and the specific brand of molds. Thank you

Wow! That dresser is simply stunning! I can’t wait to give this a try – I purchased several molds a couple of years ago, but didn’t really understand the best way to use them. This video really helps with directions and inspiration. I love the story about the weight and health issues as well – seems like we are all going through some sort of challenge.
I too lost both my grandma and mom to cancer. My mom died at 72 and my grandma at 65. Sin ce my grandma died I started a “healthy” conscious life style which consisted on a low calorie low fat diet after years of starving and extreme fatigue that ended up in hypothyroidism I began to educate my self and I was determined to find the cause and the cure. During my journey I came across the Keto diet and after studying the diet pros and cons for 3 months I decided to try it and like you it changed my life. I’m no longer tired and reversed my hypothyroidism. The dresser is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe I found everything I love in one video. My love for refinishing, keto and my favorite store Anthropologie as the inspiration. Thank you for making this video and God bless !
Hi Sara,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am so happy you found us and that we can also be an inspiration to you.
Have a blessed day!
Approximately how much clay is needed to do this dresser?
Hi Patrice,
Thank you for reaching out. This project was done by one of our awesome stockists so I am not quite sure. I am sure they would be happy to answer any questions you have on their facebook. Here is a link https://www.facebook.com/debisdesigndiary/. 😊
This is gorgeous! I’m wondering if our Mom’s were friends. With that said; I’ve been on a similar journey. I am on year 4 of keto and feel great. This is a lifestyle not a diet. I decided it was time to get healthy since diabetes was in my family. I made this change as a preventative measure. I don’t even walk down the candy isle or crave the sugar anymore. I drink my keto coffee with home made creamer. I have found that I desire more savory and tart foods than in the past.
I’m going to start adding beautiful ‘frosting’ to my furniture. Why not !?! Have a gorgeous day!
Lynda
Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day, Lynda! ❤️
Best video ever!
Thanks so much, Candace! ❤️
So beautiful. Is the wax that Debi used the dark wax or the black wax.
I can’t find the link to the Anthro dresser so I can see the before. Can you please share it here?
You are so adorable person how you talking and telling your life story and your work( art work) is super beautiful …
thank you so much for sharing it 🥰 bless you
Thank you so much, Gita! ❤️🥰
I have purchased the moulds, paint and wax to create a similar look on a built-in china cabinet in my home. However, I’ve never done anything like this before and am not particularly artistic. I’m intimated about creating an overall design using clay that is supposed to be used “wet.” Is there a way of using the moulds to create some sort of paper template that would allow me to move paper birds, flowers, etc. around on my piece until I’m satisfied with the design and can then create the clay pieces and glue them down to the template I’ve created?
I am new here. LOVE that dresser. Stunningly beautiful. I cannot find the original picture of the Anthropology dresser however. Where is it again? On this website? Thanks…
Love the video of the dresser but OMG what a pain to have to listen all the time to this woman whining and going on and on and on about sugar in between all the interesting DIY parts. I had to jump the video so many times. Some of us just want to paint a furniture, not get a conference.
Hey! Late to the party but I love this! How durable is it, was planning something for my grandchildren but do I dare?!
Hi Rebecca! Better late than never😉 You would be surprised how durable they are! As long as you use the correct products with them, I think it will withstand the grandchildren wonderfully!☺️
