IOD Sprigs Stamp: June 2021 Iron Orchid Designs New Product Release

Sprigs have Sprung! OK, ok, so maybe that should be “spring,” but you’ll want to get your hands on the new IOD Sprigs Stamp before the season changes to summer!

The IOD Sprigs Stamp is a clear stamp featuring one sheet with eight different individual stems. Delicate meadow blossoms as well as a classic ear of wheat. These elements can be arranged to ‘build’ whatever composition you want and they can be easily used with the other fresh floral stamps by IOD:

Be sure to pin this post for later as we’ll be adding project ideas with the IOD Sprigs Stamp.

The 2021 June release of IOD stamps will be available for purchase starting in late-June from approved IOD stockists. Click here to find a retailer near you.

IOD Sprigs Stamp: One set, so many uses!

IOD Stamps are designed to be quick and easy to use (both prep and clean up) AND the images are “buildable.” That means you can arrange them however you like to create a custom, cohesive look. These are perfect for printmaking by themselves or for adding an extra or unexpected flourish to a design.

Can you find the Sprigs Josie snuck into her painting below with the Chrysanthemums and Peonies Stamps?

The lines and composition of this stamp are perfect for impression techniques. The ridges of the stamps are deeper, more distinct, and durable as compared to other craft and decor stamps. They create a crisp, two-dimensional image when pressed into troweled paint, air dry clay, or a joint compound medium.

Other mediums you can use with the IOD Sprigs Stamp

Our favorite medium is IOD Decor Inks, but you can also use decor paints such as chalk, clay, or mineral-based paints. For more mediums, as well as the prep and care for your stamps, check out this “How to Use IOD Stamps” basics.

And don’t forget, in addition to furniture, you can stamp impressions on polymer clay, plates and table decor, and so much more. The better question might be, “what can’t you stamp on?” 😆

Reusable Masks for the IOD Stamps

Use the reusable IOD decor masks when you want to create layers in your design without disrupting the original stamped image. The mask is shaped just like the stamp and it covers the original image. This protects (or masks) that first impression as you continue to stamp your project. The plastic mask keeps your stamped designs crisp and clear. It also creates depth in your design by giving the sense of foreground and background.

My husband can draw anything but flowers. He’s amazing! He’s really good at color and shading. He does block art. I love flowers and it’s evident in my back yard how much I love flowers. I found you by accident on Youtube. I love the fact your sisters and that you allow independent people to sell your products. Pass it down, and help others, just as if your helping your neighbors. Awesome!
My favorites are peonies, chrysanthemums, branches and vines, and sprigs stamps. I would love it on a door. I’m the brains and he’s the artist. 🙂
I will give you our website but I have not posted anything in a long time. I wish I could send something recent. Just click on photos. All painting is done free hand. No tape. Barn Quilts, draws them in minutes and he does 4 at a time.

I love. Wondering if you are ever going to go with a trees theme. All kinds of tree , either with transfers or stamps?

I have seen the IOD stamps used with a roller where they rolled the paint onto the stamp. Where can I get that?
    Thank you!
