Josie and I are so excited about the prospect of inviting you into our community of stockists. Here are the Terms and Policies for IOD Stockists.
1. Order Minimums
$500 for opening orders. ( If you own multiple stores the initial purchase is $500 for the first store and $200 per additional store that you want to sell IOD products in. It is essential that you do not sell products in a store that is not an activated IOD location to protect other IOD stockists who may be in that area. Your account is not activated for that store until the initial order has been placed for that store)
Re-orders have no minimum.
Stockists must maintain a yearly average of $3000 single store / $4000 multiple stores in wholesale purchasing. ( We greatly encourage the use of classes, demos and workshops to build customer awareness and loyalty and will continue offering support and resources for our stockists in that area. )
2. Territory Protection Policy
We take into consideration the location of existing stores and the health of the existing store ( i.e. sales volume, product range, education program) when reviewing a new stockist applicant. We will handle this at our discretion and on a case by case basis. Our purpose is to maintain product availability for end users and to avoid sales cannibalizing between stockist locations.
Iron Orchid Designs will provide an MSRP and MAP ( Minimum Advertised Price ) in order to prevent undercutting and maintain a healthy sales model. In the event the IOD Stockist chooses to place the products or goods for sale at a discount, the Wholesale Account shall not discount the products more than 20% below MSRP. Permission for special sale events beyond the 20% discount by the Wholesale Account must be requested in writing to email@example.com.
4. Competing Product Lines
To maintain an active IOD account, it is our policy that stockists do not carry competing products. This does not mean brands, but rather specific products that compete directly with our products, for example, large scale transfers intended for décor, molds intended for décor, large scale stamps intended for décor, erasable liquid chalk.
5. Store Front
To be an authorized IOD Stockist you must currently have a brick and mortar store front, a booth within a larger store front location or you must have an independent domain owned by you that is currently live with a URL and an active shopping cart. Applications to sell on third party selling websites will not be accepted. Applications to sell from one's home with out a website will not be accepted. At this time we are not accepting stores that only sell on facebook.
6. Wholesale Pricing
All prices are listed in US dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice
Returns must be made in writing directly to Head Office within 7 days of delivery date quoting invoice number and reasons. No returns are acceptable without IOD’s prior approval and delivery instructions for transport. Shipping will be charged.
Please email us with details of the product prior to returning it.
IOD accepts credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express). Payment is required at the time your order is placed. With the exception of pre orders which will be charged at time of shipping.
Shipping is not included in the cost of goods. Your final emailed invoice will reflect the detailed and accurate shipping cost.
10. Damages and Defects
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Please contact IOD at firstname.lastname@example.org within 5 days of receipt of damaged or defective shipments. Returned merchandise will be replaced with new merchandise. Returned merchandise will not be accepted if it is held for more than 15 days after receipt.
11. Delivery Window
Please allow at least 10-14 days from the time of your order for completion of items. Larger orders may require more time.
