A Treasure Trove of IOD Project Tutorials

Updated May 2022

Have you blazed through all our videos on the IOD YouTube channel and want even more IOD DIY inspiration?

If you answered, “Heck, yeah!” then you’ll love exploring IOD Facebook Lives.

What are IOD Facebook Lives – aka IOD TV?

Every week you can tune in to watch 6-8 brand new, live DIY home decor video tutorials on our Facebook page.

Each live “show” goes on at a pre-scheduled time and is hosted by a rotating cast of talented IOD retailers — who we call “stockists.”

You’ll get to see step-by-step furniture makeovers, how to distress a vintage sign, DIY jewelry techniques, how to create a faux leather field journal and so much more — all broadcasted live using Iron Orchid Designs products.

For example, recently IOD stockist Charlotte from Creative Sol Makery in Garden City, MI showed step-by-step how to create this lovely centerpiece from a cheap crafts store crate. Click here to watch the full video on Facebook.

And here’s a Dollar Store clock makeover by IOD stockist Denise of The Crafty DIYer done on her regular every other Thursday afternoon time slot. Check out the replay here.

In this day and age where so many videos are pre-recorded, a live DIY home decor tutorial can be a real treat!

You can see how many people are watching in real-time right along with you. Also, you can get your project questions answered right then and there by the show host.

And Facebook Lives are where our stockists share their best tips and tricks for getting just the look you want on a project.

As a “bonus” (wink, wink), you’ll also get to see any funny bloopers and learn how to fix all kinds of mistakes because there’s no video editing at all. You get to see every whoopsie, smudge, and smear made as the project is created.

When can I see an IOD Facebook Live Show?
