Project #1 with the New IOD Transfers: A Gallery Wall You Can Toast to with the Cheers Transfer
So much wine – so little time! Whether you’re a wine connoisseur with sommelier aspirations or an everyday sipper, you’ll never get tired of looking at this gallery wall by IOD Stockist Ellen J. Goods in Medina, NY.
Watch the video below and see how to create your own with nine different pieces of wall art using the IOD Cheers Transfer. Learn how to select some salvaged wood and chippy frames for this project, as well as how to cut and arrange the transfer. It’s so easy to make your own unique design.
Project #2 with the New IOD Transfers: Express Your Western Bohemian Style with a Wood Tote Embellished with the Desperado Transfer
Whether you’re already in love with the Western Bohemian vibe, or this is the first time you’re hearing about it – you’re in for a treat! Lexi Grenzer of Lexi Grenzer Art used the IOD Desperado Transfer to create a cactus-covered wooden tote. And then she added watercolor!
She brushed clear gesso over the transfers and let it fully dry. Then she added touches of watercolor directly on top of the cactus. Her best watercolor-over-transfer tip: Lightly dab in the watercolor with your brush and don’t overwork it. Overworking makes the colors run together – and that gives it a “muddy” look. (That’s the nice way of saying you’ll turn all the colors brown).
For a final touch of “Wild West” abandon ~ splatter watercolor on the painted wood surface around the cactus! Either use your favorite color or simply splatter nothing but plain water over the wet color. All sorts of magical stuff happens when you splatter!

Project #3 with the New IOD Transfers: DIY Vintage Garden Inspired Home Accessories with the Ephemeral Melange Transfer
Do you have a stash of small thrift store finds? (Ahemm.. who doesn’t?!?) Pull those babies out – you’re gonna want to rub this transfer on ALL of those diamonds-in-the rough!
Follow along below as IOD Stockist Jami Ray Vintage in Lehi, UT creates five gorgeous springtime thrift flips using just a single pad of this transfer (and she still had leftovers!).
The makeovers include a vintage lunch box, a small wooden chair, a variety of little buckets, and more. Each project gets a coat of chalk-style decor paint for the backdrop and then a piece of the Ephemeral Melange Transfer. Hold us back! We’re caught in the thrift store gravitational pull!
