Our dear friend and IOD Artisan, Jonathon Marc Mendes, is back, and he’s bringing all the autumn vibes with him. 🍂 This time, Jonathon upcycles a humble thrifted bowl into the most charming vintage vegetable bowl using a beautiful mix of IOD moulds.

Jonathon demonstrates how to work with IOD Air Dry Clay using favorite moulds like Viridis, Oak Leaves & Acorns, Autumn Cottage, and the retired but beautiful Hello Pumpkin Mould. Along the way, he shares tips and tricks for casting and assembling while the clay is pliable, painting with earthy neutrals, and finishing with crackle and vintage glaze for a delightful earthenware look. You can bet we’ll be using this technique to create a cozy piece for our fall decor soon. 🥰
